Route through the Lowlands of The River Güeña

Route Description
 

After walking along the 5 km that separate Cangas de Onís from Corao, take the main road towards Corao-Castle. Here, continue on along a trail that leads you to Táranu. This point can be reached along another alternative route that passes through Labra.

From Táranu, pass through Llenín and you will come to Cuerres.

After returning to Llenín, take a trail that leads you to Beceña. Continue on along the route towards San Martín de Grazanes.

 

Take then asphalted road that leads to Mestas de Con, one of the most important towns in the Municipality of Cangas de Onís.

From Mestas, take a minor road towards Soto de Ensertal and Intriago. At this point, there are two alternatives:

  1. You can either leave the main road and continue along it until you reach Cangas de Onís.

  2. Or head towards Teleña, and then take a path towards Abamia. From there, to Corao and then along the main road to Cangas de Onís.
