The route starts out in Cangas de Onís, and heads towards Corao.  After crossing the main road of Cabrales, you reach Labra.

Carry on along the main road that climbs upwards towards the hill of Zardón.  After going down a short slope, you will come to a bridge.  Turn left towards Zardón and then go on towards Ortigosa.  A little further on, you will come to the village of San Tirso.

Go down to the left, past a turning to the left that leads to Molín de Mingo, and take the turning to the right, along a dirt trail.

Carry on through Las Canaliegas and after a short climb, you will come to Peruyes. Go down towards Margolles,  on the main road from Oviedo to Santander, and carry on along towards Arriondas, after which you come to Merediz.  Ascend towards Coviella, and from there, go down to the road from Arriondas to Cangas de Onís.  Continue on along the road until you reach the starting point.
